3 Ways to Grow Your Email List By Blogging

Blogging has become the new information highway.  Articles, and videos are being published online to view.  People turn to the internet for information, and also want to read from a regular writer.

They want articles that inform, educate, and entertain.

Blogs; a great way to grow your Email list and drive traffic to your site.
Blogs: a great way to grow your Email list and drive traffic to your site.

Since so many people receive these benefits from blogs, they’re also a great way to drive traffic to your site regularly and grow your Email list. Creating a blog can take some work, but here’s a method I’ve used plenty of times that’s really simple.

Setting up WordPress

Before you can begin creating your blog, you’ll need a blogging platform.  WordPress is easily the most popular option and with good reason.

wordpress logoIt’s powerful enough to run a big website, versatile enough to handle anything, and popular enough that there are countless themes and plugins for it.

This blog runs on WordPress and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

What’s important to understand is that there are 2 different kinds of WordPress platforms.

WordPress.com is fully hosted (you have to pay for it). WordPress.org is self-hosted (you can download it for free).

If you plan on making money online, look at your blog as an additional way to attract new visitors and prospects to offer products and services to…NOT as a business model where you’re paid totally off ad revenue.

Growing your email list in this manner is a great way to grow your future customer base.

Placing ads in the sidebar

The look and layout of a blog is determined by the theme you use.  Most themes will allow you to place image ads in the sidebar column.  These ads will appear on nearly every page of your blog and can be a great way to promote your offers and get people clicking through to your squeeze and sales pages.

Since you’re creating this blog to either make money or generate leads, utilizing this ability to advertise on your blog is crucial.

Some bloggers prefer to create their own ads that link to an offer.  Others, however, will simply use Google Ads or a similar service and let them decide what ads to put up.

Placing ads in the article

The articles posted to your blog can also be a great place to advertise.  It’s easy to add text links to the content of an article.

And, this is a very unobtrusive way to advertise.

Since these are text-based links, they fit perfectly into the body of an article.  Not everyone can read code, so you can add a link to your WordPress blog post simply by pressing the hyperlink button right above where you enter the article text.

Placing ads after the article

Blog articles are a perfect way to pre-sell someone on an offer.

Let’s say you run a blog about dating and you’re offering a product that helps someone plan the perfect date.  Writing a blog post about how important it is to plan out a date will put your readers into a receptive state.

Placing an ad at the end of this article is the best way to capitalize on that.

Most ads like this will be horizontal banners and are often visually eye-catching, or use animation.

Popup footers, on the other hand, are a new technology which many others have found to be very effective.

These are the three main ways to use a blog to attract visitors and then transport them to the page where you call them to action of some kind.

Getting people to these “money pages” is absolutely key for success online.

And of course don’t forget to include a WordPress “Follow Me” button preferably at the top of your blog menu.

If creating a website or writing regular posts sounds just a bit too complicated or time-consuming, here’s something else you may want to try.

My “21 simple steps to making your first $1250 $3300, and $5500 online,“ even if you have no computer skills whatsoever may be perfect for you.

How to Integrate Social Media into Your Business

Social media has exploded in popularity, so it shouldn’t be surprising that many marketers are advocating its use.

There are hundreds of millions of users across multiple social media platforms, and they interact with each other on a daily basis.

Hundreds of millions of users across multiple social media platforms.
There are hundreds of millions of users across multiple social media platforms.

The benefits this has to a marketer are clear. The problem is you need to integrate it correctly.

A lot of marketers fail in this pivotal second piece of the puzzle.

They may have some sort of social media presence but all of their efforts are disjointed.  You’ll need to create an interconnected web of social media accounts that all link back to your main site if you want to get the most out of it.

It all starts with content

Without a collection of strong content on your main site, you won’t have much to share on Twitter or Facebook.  Your main focus should always be on your own website and your goal should be to populate it with plenty of good content.

Once a site has been up and running for a while, it’s a good candidate for social media integration.

Whenever you post something new, it should get a mention in your social media accounts.  This will help maximize the traffic generation offered by every piece of content you post.

Sharing

One of the best ways to do this is to share new content on sites like Facebook.

Since you can do this with only a few mouse clicks, it really is one of the easiest ways to extend the usefulness of your content.

It can also be a good way to subtly alert your followers to the presence of new content, which will increase the initial traffic it receives.

Quick Updates

Sites like Twitter are wonderful for sending out quick updates about what’s happening on your own site.  You should plan to produce a few major, feature type pieces at least once every month.

Twitter can be used to build excitement for this type of content before it gets posted.

You can also continue to drive traffic to it after posting by mentioning how popular it is or how busy the discussion threads are.

Tumbling Around

Tumblr is a social media platform that marketers rarely talk about.

It is actually one of the most popular sites on the web, and is a prime location for finding a younger demographic.

The beautiful part about Tumblr is that you can include links back to your site in either text or image posts. Other people can then share or “reblog” what you post, potentially reaching a huge audience.

The real key to social media rests in the integration.  It really should be integrated as a part of what you do on your website, and not handled as something else entirely.

You’ll get the most out of social media by creating a website which all leads back to your main site and the offers that can be found there.

Or, if you want to have all of this done for you, click here and discover how!

Thank you.

Once upon a time (an awful story about me)

Let me tell you an awful story about me.

This is about the day when I was the worst childhood friend ever.

Sean came over to play, and he brought his remote-controlled car.

Its name was “The Hornet”.

The day I became the worst childhood friend ever.
The day I became the worst childhood friend ever.

Anyway, it was my turn to drive.

Sean wasn’t looking.

I drove his Hornet into the street and it got…

Just annihilated by a (non-remote-controlled) black pickup truck.

I remember it like it was yesterday.

Moral of the story: Don’t give other people control over your material valuables.

I don’t need to tell you stories about market failures, downsizing, mergers, intra-company scams, glass ceilings, or pay decreases.

You know the way of the world.

There is a significant sense of dignity in putting your eggs in your own basket and knowing that the money you make is yours, is safe, is consistent, and has unlimited potential to grow.

Again, try putting your eggs in your own basket.

We can help get you started.

Building Trust with Social Media

One thing that stands out today in the social media world we live in is that it’s important to develop a sense of trust with your followers. This is especially true for small and medium sized businesses, since the amount of trust between business and follower will only serve to build customer loyalty.

Building Trust with Social Media
Building Trust with Social Media

Trust is essential to building your brand, and even the best marketers in the world won’t be able to sell a product without first establishing trust with their customer base. They must create stories that offer a connection with their consumers.

But how do you go about building that trust?

 Use Your Content

Using content is the most reliable method you have for developing trust with followers. Create insightful, meaningful content that will provoke emotion and establish a connect with your consumers.

Next, convert the data into graphical form

For this, you should invest in professional graphic design. There are some designers and websites that focus entirely on infographics. Look through a few portfolios and choose a designer who makes attractive-looking, useful infographics. Keep in mind that there are many ways to represent data outside of attractive pie-charts and graphs.

Turn your data over to your designer to be converted into an infographic. Make sure that your website is incorporated into the design. You’ll want to use the infographic for back-linking purposes.

Transparency

Followers want to see that you are a real, live person, not a faceless brand with which they’re doing business. They want to see your thoughts and your suggestions and learn more about you as a person. Consumers care less about the money and more about the relationship.

Take the time to develop and nurture the relationship you have with your consumer base. Show them the real you, and how you arrived at your current destination.

Pictures

Pictures are powerful. Consider the previous point and be sure to post pictures of your daily life. Followers want to see the real, unfiltered life you live. Share your daily routine with your consumers, on a regular basis so that they know who you are and what you’re doing.

Mind Your Manners

Being polite and courteous go a long way. Even though we may not give these words a second thought, the person we offer them to will remember them. When someone shares your post, make sure you thank them. If you need something from someone, make sure you ask them with a please.

Accept Criticism

The harsh reality is that you and your business are going to be criticized. It comes with the territory of being truthful. Respond positively to critique. Allow it to be an opportunity for learning and growth. Don’t be afraid to stand up for what you believe, but have an open mind that you might be in the wrong. Followers will notice how you respond.

Have Fun

This is social media after all, isn’t it? You’re connect with thousands (if not more) of people from around the world in an instant, something never before possible in the history of our species. We have information about anything available at our fingertips. Enjoy what you’re doing. Have fun with it!

Be Adventurous

Don’t be afraid to try something new or unique when it comes to your social media accounts. It may not work, but followers will see that you’re willing to take a chance on something innovative. Sure you might fall flat on your face, but there’s also the possibility that you’ll succeed.

Be Responsive and Respectful

Responding to comments on posts isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Some people simply want to watch the world burn. Be respectful to everyone. Sometimes it’s not the easiest thing to do, but it is the right thing. And as mentioned previously, followers and customers will see how you react, and the correct response now may lead to additional business in the future.

Trust is something you earn, not something that’s given. Your followers put their trust in you because they see the real you and the way you handle everyday life. Use the trust and loyalty others have in you to develop relationships and provide your customers a great experience.

Seeing Others Succeed? Asking, “WHY NOT ME?”

Hi,

Are you tired of seeing other people in nice homes, cars, and living the lifestyle you’d like to have?

(a lifestyle like this: http://track.mobetrack.com/aff_c?offer_id=1920&aff_id=1841470)

Are you tired of never fully understanding why they have what you want, and you don’t?

Then you need to read this book.

The Slight Edge -Jeff Olson
The Slight Edge -Jeff Olson

I started  flipping through the pages of this book, The Slight Edge, by Jeff Olson and stopped dead in my tracks at the part where he talks about the day he was out working in the scorching sun.

He was cutting grass at a wealthy golf course in Florida. As he was sputtering around on the mower when he spotted the members smiling and zipping around in their golf carts.

He saw them sporting their dapper outfits, pulling expensive clubs out of their fancy golf bags and enjoying their day while he was working.

And these thoughts started simmering in his mind…

Why is it they’re over there riding in carts and I’m over here working?

I don’t get it!

Why are they over there putting and I’m stuck here working?

Are they 10, 20 times smarter than me?

He didn’t think so…

What was going on…??

Though his mind was as clear as mud at first… this day was defined as his day of disgust…

He resolved he’d never settle for less than he deserved, one more solitary day…

And the secret he discovered and talks about in his book?

It’s the SLIGHT EDGE.

Committing to doing “a teeny bit” more than the average person will do every single day.

It’s going through a module of a course when you’d rather watch Netflix.

It’s spending $5 a day on FB Ads to build your list OVER spending that on a Mocha Frappuccino Latte at Starbucks…

It’s using the willpower to MAKING an offer every day instead of looking to buy and CONSUME an offer every day…

Is this making sense to you?

It’s the tiny DAILY DECISIONS that gives you the life you deserve and DESIRE.

Here’s an incredibly useful question to ask yourself 1000 times a day…

Will My Future Self THANK ME For Making This Decision Right Now?

That’ll keep you (and me) on the right track.

Let it serve us well.

Here’s a 21 Step System that if followed to the ‘T”? WILL likely put an extra $100k or more in your pockets over the next 12 months…

Without much effort on your part…

Yet, you’ve got to commit to it.

Working through Module 1, Module 2, and beyond.

Even when you’d rather be watching Game of Thrones or hitting new High Scores on Candy Crush…

I believe you’re a go-getter.

This Is What Builds True Success…

Would you like to know a way to build true success?

It’s very simple, but very few will ever do it.

[…Click the link below to see the world -wide results of what Matt Lloyd has created by applying this idea:     MTTB The 21 Step World Wide Success System…]

Those who actually take the ACTIVE step of putting their commitment in writing live up to those commitments at a far higher rate.
Putting you commitments in writing help you live up to those commitments at a far higher rate.

In his book, “YES!”, psychologist Robert B. Cialdini tells of a study of a group of people asked to volunteer for an AIDS education camp.

In one study, only 17% who said they would come to the camp actually showed up. In another study, 49% who said they would come to the camp actually showed up.

What made the huge difference?

The group who showed up at the higher rate had filled out a form stating that they would be there. This is known as “active commitment”.

You see, anyone can say they will do something. Anyone can say they want success. Worse yet, anyone can THINK they want success.

But those who actually take the ACTIVE step of putting their commitment in writing live up to those commitments at a far higher rate.

Question: How many of your success goals have you written down?

Matt Lloyd wrote all of his goals down. And he’s earned over $51,000,000 with his system for online success.

Now, he’s written that system down for you.

21 steps that are guaranteed to earn you commissions.

When you’re ready to make an active commitment to your success, here’s the system that will help you follow through…MTTB The 21 Step World Wide Success System

How To Succeed When You Feel Defeated….

How do you succeed when you feel defeated or when you feel like you’ve failed?

You TAKE ACTION.

Like these people are doing. They turned their defeat into success.
http://track.mobetrack.com/aff_c?offer_id=1846&aff_id=1841470

When you feel defeated or when you feel that you've failed, the best way to turn things around is to take immediate action.
Take Action !

Ever hear of Joshua Chamberlain?

He was a Colonel in the Union Army, which placed him in the middle of the battle of Gettysburg.

Several days into the battle, Chamberlain and his unit were stranded defending a ridge that was vital to the Union. After repelling multiple waves of rebel attacks, Chamberlain and his me were left with no ammo and no chance of reinforcements.

As the rebels gathered at the bottom of the ridge for another attack, Chamberlain was out of ammo, men, and choices.

The rebels began their charge. He had to do something or he would lose the ridge and the Union would be defeated.

What did he do?

He took action.

Chamberlain gathered his men and charged down the hill.

The rebels were so stunned that they thought Chamberlain must have been reinforced and retreated. By simply taking action, Chamberlain turned the tide of the battle and the war.

Have you ever felt like Chamberlain?

Left without any choice?

Unsure what to do?

Everyone has, especially when it comes to money.

How many times have you woken up and cringed at going to your job that overworks and underpays you? Wished you had another option for income?

Something that paid serious money?

I found a great system. Click the link below to check it out.

That’s it.

A huge moneymaker?

Well just let’s just say, I closed my old company and I’m doing this full time now.

This system has paid out over $103,000,000.00 in commissions.

Why You Need a Business Plan…

If you are seeking to open a new business – either online or in the real world – and you don’t have the capital, you will need to seek help from institutional or individual investors. And the first thing they are going to want to see before they invest a dime in your business is your business plan.

Click here to see a phenominal business that earns its affiliates $1500, $3500, and even $10 000 in commissions. It’s called MTTB – My Top Tier Business.

A blueprint that you can use to build your business
You business plan is a guide to both you and to potential investors on how you will achieve your goals and how your business will be financially successful.

What Is a Business Plan?

The business plan serves two essential functions:

  1. It provides a blueprint that you can use to build your business
  2. The business plan explains to investors why your business will be financially successful

What investors want to see is a business plan that presents a model of what your business will look like from its very beginning until it is operating at full capacity. Your business plan should include realistic, attainable objectives. If it includes unrealistic revenue forecasts or is built on a swampy foundation, your business plan won’t fly.

Benefits of a Business Plan

Even if you are going to be your business’ only employee and work out of your home, you still need a business plan. That’s because your business needs a map that leads it where you want it to go.

Although your business plan should be as detailed as possible, the larger and more complicated your business will be, the more detail your business plan will need to include.

You will need to rely on your business plan and reference it frequently both before and after you launch your business, so it’s absolutely necessary that you have everything in place as much as possible from the beginning.

Elements of a Business Plan

Successful business plans have five elements:

Background Information – How and why are you creating this business? Here you will include general information such as what types of products and/or services you will be selling.

Marketing Plan – Explain what type of marketing you plan to use to promote your business, such as paid advertising, social media marketing and direct marketing.

Operational Plan – Indicate how your business will function. Include hours of operation, estimated number of employees, location, and any other relevant operational data.

Financial Plan – This may be the most important part. You need to explain your financial goals and a detailed account of your estimated costs, including payroll, rent, overhead, supplies, raw materials and any other expenditure.

Decision-Making Criteria – In this section, indicate what types of things you are going to consider before moving forward with the plan.

Every business plan is different. There’s not one single template you can use and simply fill in the specific details of your business proposal. When developing your plan, present the information so that anybody can use it as a tool to decide whether or not to proceed with the business.

Getting Help with Your Business Plan

If you have a partner, they can assist you in developing your business plan. Others who can help you include your accountant, if you have one. In most cases, CPAs have enough experience to identify glaring errors so you can correct them before showing it to anybody else. There are also software programs available that are designed to help you create business plans. LivePlan is one of the best.

Your next stop should be trusted professionals in the same field as yours. While you may not want to hand your business plan to somebody you will be competing against directly, if you have a friend, a former business school professor you are still close with, or a mentor who can give you genuine, helpful advice, see if they would be willing to take a look at your business plan.

When you have as much feedback as you need and have made the necessary changes to your plan so it is as accurate and realistic as possible, you can use it to attract investors. When you present to investors or apply for a business loan, your business plan will serve as the centerpiece of your pitch.

How To Use A 250 Year Old Discovery For Online Success

In 1776 Adam Smith, the father of modern economics, made a discovery that revolutionized the business world.

Here’s the idea: A single person focused on a single task is far better than one person doing multiple tasks.

Focuse on a single task
Focus on a single task

Now common sense—but that’s just a testimony to Smith’s genius in finding and applying this principle. Using this principle, Smith was able to set up systems in which young, unskilled boys could greatly out-produce skilled artisans—blacksmiths, shoemakers, tailors. Which completely changed the way work was done in the world.

And the principle applies today more than it ever did; especially for small business owners. Consider the following tasks that small businesses have to deal with every day:

• Customer service
• Financial tasks
• Administrative duties
• Managing vendors
• Creating website content
• Managing sales
• IT and technical duties

All these things together threaten to make you—the small business owner—very inefficient. That is, unless you implement the division of labor.

John Chow’s the Ultimate Dot Com Lifestyle is a simple system that’s built on the wisdom of Adam Smith. John and his team handle all the nitty-gritty of business ownership. Which frees you up to focus on lead generation. Division of labor at its finest.
